Nickel mesh is a silver-white, malleable and ductile metal mesh. It is also a reasonable conductor of heat and electricity. Additionally in the metallic form it has applications in batteries and electroplating. Nickel plating is used as a protective coating for other metals, notably in coinage. The standard nickel mesh sizes range from 0.75 mm to 1 mm to 2 mm diameter with strict tolerances and alpha values (conductive resistance) for uses such as gas detection and thermometry tolerance. Materials:The material is available in the following specifications:* From 5 wires per inch to 2,000 wires per inch. * From 1% transmission to 95% transmission . * Thickness from 3 microns to 250 microns. * Sheet sizes up to 22 inches square. * Standard openings are square. * 99.98% pure nickel. * Can be flashed with gold or copper * Can be black nickel coated Weaving pattern: plain weave, dutch weave and twill weave.Benefits:* Resistance to many chemicals and has high electrical conductivity.* Permanence in air and inertness to oxidation.* Malleable and ductile.* Resistant to corrosion in air or water.* It is readily soluble in dilute acids, but is unaffected by alkalis.Applications:* For vacuum coating.* For making valves grid, inner components of vacuum valves.* For battery production.* For chemical, mine, hydrogen making, acid making and basic industry.Packing: waterproof paper with plastic cloth, then put into wooden box.
